RPC IT is launching an exciting transformation journey and we are looking for new Team Leader of IT Infrastructure and Operations to strengthen our IT leadership team, capabilities, and define and execute future-proof path for our Core IT Platforms.

You will report to the Head of IT.

Your responsibilities are:

- Responsibility for delivery and stability of all technology platforms (including Capacity Planning and Management), activities planning and resource allocation
- Responsible for defining, implementing and updating RPC IT Infrastructure platforms strategy and technology life cycle in accordance with the overall RPC/RBI and IT strategies; Focuses on innovative technologies, following RBI Group strategies and goals (Cloud, DevOps, Agile Engineering)
- Recruitment, management, and maintenance of a highly skilled technical services team ensuring required resource is available to meet business demand
- Evaluation of new products, proof of concepts and design input into new services as part of product development
- To be technically responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Cloud services
- To act as final technical escalation point for all IT Infrastructure incidents, problem and changes.
- Together with the team maintains/updates the architecture of the IT infrastructure, designs and analyzes possible improvements, ensures an updating of the documentation
- Leads the DevOps platforms implementation, develops team and skills, focusing on automation, driving towards "Infrastructure as a Code" target
- Leads Infrastructure Cloud transformation, developing migration strategy, ensuring relevant internal skills
- Responsible for delivery and continuous update of RPC IT Asset Management solution and processes, focusing on automation; supports fulfillment of RBI GITAM initiative
- Participates in relevant RBI Group events (e.g., GTAC) forums and communities, representing RPC and fostering collaboration and Group know-how/experience; acts as the SPOC for Group CTO team and related Group initiatives
- Define detailed polies and procedures for interfacing with customers to manage their expectations
- Works jointly with RPC Information and Cyber Security team on implementing and managing Infrastructure Security solutions; supports delivery and fulfillment of relevant RBI Group Security initiatives and requirements; Participates in annual PCI-DSS and RBI audits and insures delivery and fulfillment of relevant audit requirements
- Working closely with the Housing/Hosting providers to insure stable performance of systems and services
- Ensure continuous improvement of all systems

Wage (gross)

4 000 EUR/monthSalary starting at 4000 € gross per month + fix allowances twice a year + yearly bonus (Offered salary is equal to minimal level of experience communicated in the advertisement. Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Your skillset:

- You will have an excellent knowledge of all data center technology domains (networking, server, storage, Firewalls/security, Windows technologies, Unix/Linux OS, SQL, and virtualization).
- Have experience of leading proof of concept and pilot implementations of new business systems.
- Have experience with public cloud providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Have experience with DevOps technologies (Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub, Terraform, json, Python) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Have experience in operation activities, such as security, monitoring and maintenance
- Good working knowledge of Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery and associated practices; Experience with PCI-DSS is a plus
- Ability to produce quality technical design documents, Statements of Work
- Ability to create/maintain relationships with peers/vendors/suppliers
- Experience of financial budgeting and planning
- Interact with customers and identify solutions to business problems

What you bring to the table:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, transformation and operations of IT services
- Leadership experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations area
- Ability to champion things, take ownership, propose changes/improvement/ideas.
- Ability to get the best out of a team and deploy resources in an efficient manner
- Ability to manage a team of skilled technical/non-technical staff, providing guidance and challenge where appropriate
- Ability to mentor members of staff, providing advice and guidance where appropriate/required
- Strategic thinking and ability develop and operationalize strategies
- Retain and grow relevant knowledge on existing and new technologies, looking to exploit opportunity
- Ability to discuss technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to clearly articulate priorities, direct a team of technical/non-technical staff and plan/prioritize technical tasks and workloads
- Very good understanding of technology trends and best practices
- Previous experience with agile methodologies
- Extensive negotiation and presentation skills; ability to establish and expand peer relationships
- Knowledge of IT Asset Management solutions (ServiceNow, JIRA Insight, Snow) and practices
- Advanced English language skills
